Join us for a restorative space where we reflect on life in all its fullness— from work, to relationships, parenting, health—and the ways our fast-paced culture can leave us overwhelmed.
Together, we’ll look to the women of the Bible and inspirational women in history for insight and strength, exploring how their stories speak into our lives today.
Whether you're navigating the fun/chaos of family life or the demands of work, you are not alone.
We engage through scripture, creative expression, and reflective meditation, and invite you to bring any practices that help you stay grounded and whole.
Come as you are. Be encouraged. Find rest and renewed perspective.
DATE - 1st September

As the community grows and people join with a variety of work/life patterns, we are open to new ideas for gatherings that will contribute to our shared life together. Existing activities may adjust, change or even cease, and new ones may be added. Our desire is to discover how God is at work, and be willing to try new possibilities even if some do not work out! Not everyone needs to take part in every type of meeting, so some may emerge that cater for a particular approach or group of people.
Our regular gatherings above form our shared life together, and are the simple rhythms that run through the year. In addition there are some key annual events that punctuate the year.
Each year some of us book a day away, where we pray and reflect on our shared journey, thinking about our life together serving Lubbesthorpe.
Both these occasions naturally afford us opportunities to be visible in the community and tell the Christian story. We work with Lubbesthorpe Alive to take part in activities that are great for our new housing context.
Remembrance Sunday in November is another annual opportunity to come together with others across the community. In partnership with Lubbesthorpe Parish Council a simple act of remembrance is held near the pond located at the corner of Tay Road and Tweed Street.
Being genuine and real are important to us. Lubbesthorpe Christians Together helps each of us to live out our faith in practical ways.
